And then, you know, one of the big areas I had to grow on was, you know, there was wisdom, especially in tech,

that as you grow, you need to hire great people and get out of their get out of their way.

I think that was horrible advice.

I think that's really horrible advice.

And I think it's plagued a whole class of companies.

Because

Then when things change, like they did in the pandemic, post-pandemic, you're actually not equipped and your team isn't equipped to actually adapt.

And so I had to transition to learning how to hand stuff off, and then I had to realize this is not working, I have to come back, but then I over-correct and you have to adjust.

So it's always growing and changing.

Right.

And organizations have their own inertia, if you will.

I mean, organizations...

I had a strategy instructor in grad school who always said that like the organizations are actually usually designed to slow change.

And if you think about it,

Organizations are introduced to establish a level of predictability, a process, are functional experts, then starts going on the political stuff, starts just rising from that.

And you know, like organizations are not nimble.

It's very hard to make a large organization be nimble for a long stretch of time.

It's phenomenal.

And if you use it,

It can change your life in ways that we've always dreamed of.
