Like, from being there, from like the Jim Hendry's perspective.
Yeah, because Jim Hendry drafted you, right?
Correct, yeah.
So it was like a complete, you know.
360 change and the culture just changed.
And I think it really started with you.
And then for 15, I remember like, you know, Arietta just fucking dominated.
And it was like, we're winning every game.
And it just, every game, like, you know, he's going to go and he's going nine innings and he's throwing a two hitter and we're winning.
It didn't matter.
And I feel like just people started to like buy into, we're winning every game.
And like, I remember Rossi, we would come in because my locker was right there.
If we lost, it was like, fuck it, we're going to win tomorrow.
And there was never a point in my career, 14, 15, and 16, when I thought we were going to lose the game.
I thought that was the important, the good teams I've been on, and we had that in Chicago, and I took that into managing, was like,
we slept fine because we didn't beat ourselves, right?
We didn't get the big hit or we may get out pitched one day, but it was like, oh, we'll be back tomorrow because we've got Lester, Arrieta, yeah, Hamill, you know, the boys are coming back.
