Baseball's back, especially now the Super Bowl's over.
So we're just excited to get off the mound and get hopefully the hitters here in a couple weeks and start playing games here soon.
I mean, I would, I would just point out the young core, um, the young roster that they have.
Um,
it's been awesome because it makes it really easy to transition, obviously, into my first big league spring training as well, where it's a lot of young guys that are either in their maybe second or third, so it's not as nerve-wracking to be around guys that, I don't know, maybe are on their 10th or 11th year in the bigs, and I'm just trying to not be the dumb rookie.
So just being around those guys that went through it last year or the year before has made it very, very comfortable, and then obviously it's really exciting that
a young team just sets up a lot to where anything can really happen.
Yeah, we've talked pretty frequently, meetings the last couple days, kind of just really to get to know each other, kind of getting into my mentality, how I operate as a pitcher and everything like that, and then kind of setting up a game plan.
When we got bullpens, which the first one's tomorrow, looking forward to that, and just kind of how we're going to progress, building up to get into games and everything like that.
Got to talk a little bit.
We interlapped a little bit at Kansas City.
Didn't know each other, didn't run into each other, but...
Just knowing like how small the baseball world is, is pretty funny.
I mean, I just compete my tail off.
Anytime I'm out there, my goal isn't to, you know, go nine innings or whatever it may be or a certain stat line.
It's just to put the team in a position to win, whatever that may look like, to be the best version of myself out there.
And I like to wear my emotion on my sleeve.

Like, I'm a guy that gets fired up after a strikeout.
