There's actually an interesting story in one of these books I read where Charlie Munger, when he was trying to convince you of something, he would first state the best counter-argument

And would that tell Jews after, you know, he's very verbose and he would talk for probably like 30, 40 minutes before he's going to let you talk.

I had dinner with him and I'd say he spoke 99% of the time, which is good.

He has all the information.

What the hell am I going to say?

But what I thought was interesting is like, what does that imply?

It means he thought about this so much that he could start with the best counter argument and then essentially rebut that counter argument and say why he believes something different.

And I think that's like an excessively valuable skill.

I've never even heard of anybody else doing that.

Wise people don't solve problems.

They avoid them.

No, wisdom is prevention.

That is lit.

So that's a monger quote.
