And, uh, he had a, this is the experience of when I went and had dinner with him.

And, um,

And this, what you realize is like, you know, if you live long enough, I think he has another quote where he's like, if you live long enough, bad shit's going to happen to you.

It's like inevitable.

And you read his early life and it's like, he had the worst possible thing that could happen.

He was going through a divorce.

His nine-year-old son had leukemia before it was curable.

And so his nine-year-old son's like literally wasting away.

And he has to like watch his son die slowly.

And he would leave the hospital and like walk around the streets of Pasadena just crying his eyes out.

He's like probably 35, maybe 38 years old when this is happening.

Yeah.

And yet you spend time when you realize like he is just like nothing can face him.

He's like problems are inevitable.

And his whole thing was like, well, you're not smart because you solve problems.

You're smart or you're wise because you avoid them.

And so the advice that he gave us was like, if you just focus on being around really, really great people, like a handful of really great friends.

You don't need many.

There's probably a limit to how many you could have, maybe four or five.

Really, people you're going to do life with for your entire life.
