He's kind of like an older brother, like a mentor, like a coach.

And I called him and I was like, I'm in trouble.

And he goes, why?

I go, because I'm already addicted to doing this.

I feel like I'm high as a kite right now.

I've never done ecstasy, never done MDMA.

I have to imagine this is what it feels like.

I want to do this all the time.

And so I guess like what I didn't understand what I was lying about myself was like that relationships weren't important to me where the truth is they're more important than anything else.

So I'm sorry to monologue to you, but I think let me just get this out real quick if you don't mind.

I desperately did not want to be a loser.

And that's why I'm a workaholic.

And I've worked full time since I was 15 years old, because I saw up and down my family tree.

I was just fucking terrified of winding up just like them.

And this is the chips on shoulders, but chips on pockets.

Like I, I, I'm not a strategic person.

I genuinely just throw a lot of hours and effort.

I don't think I have any strategy.

Um, yeah.

And so I thought forever, like my work is how I protect myself because it gives me my independence.
