And we got 12 months more.
It was as good as it could have been.
And it was an amazing time in many, many ways.
We were covered with a cloud of inevitability of what was going to happen.
But it was a real opportunity for us to get to know each other again, if that makes sense.
You know, I often describe myself and Beatrice often said, the last 12 months together was very much like the first 12 months together 30 years earlier.
Really?
It really was because you become very attentive.
Everything means something, you know.
And so we were very grateful to Mark and the team in St.
Vincent's for giving us an extra 12 months.
It was really important.
But we do want to fund research as well.
So early awareness is critically important.
The research element is critically important.
And who knows, perhaps Beatrice's legacy might be that we find a cure for this disease one day.
Yeah, I mean, the early awareness by GPs particularly, but it is a very rare cancer, as I said, one in 166,000.
That's what it is.
So it's understandable that GPs are not up to speed in terms of recognising those early symptoms.
But I've said this too, I was very fortunate and Beatrice was fortunate.
