But when we're drinking, we don't think of us.
We think of everyone else a lot of the time, don't we?
And we wanna people please because we wanna be like.
Well most people are, um, who drink, you know, um they fit in, they shape shift.
You know, I was a chameleon in the pub that went over because they had a s a pu public bar and a saloon bar back then.
It was a young's pub.
So in the public bar was full of builders and in the saloon bar was full of estate agents and lawyers and that, right?
So I'd even change my accent that and go round the other side and be, how was your day today?
You know, it's I'm totally the same.
People have to accept me for being a quiet market boy now.
Very well.
Um so it does still amaze me that um if you are such a people pleaser
And you were desperate to fit in.
How you didn't really escalate when you were young, like fourteen, because we changed identity from being a girl to like a teenager to an adult, don't we?
Later on we get into the conversation, I think your kind of obsessive planning is what has helped you in your sobriety, but we're talk we'll talk about um that because you know I'm a real planner as well.
Um you know, I have to have a plan.
Um otherwise I'll go mad.
But so let's go back to the drinking rights.
