Yeah, I think we've been conditioned a lot that our worth is tied to how much we produce or how much we can do for others or how selfless we can be, especially when it comes to being a mother.
There's a lot of martyrdom in motherhood where it's like, I am only worthy if I am the best mother or if I am the best wife.
So when it comes to women actually, one, investing in themselves, it's like, where do I even start?
Like, I don't know who I am outside of being those titles.
And two, like, it's hard.
Yeah, I think it's just hard for women to actually be able to receive.
Like, we're just very, we're very good at providing in so many different ways, like especially love.
We provide so much love and nourishment and hope.
we're so nurturing to those that we love around us that when it comes to us actually being able to receive it, it's almost like it's lazy.
It's lazy of us to sit back and receive and be.
Well, that was something that came up in my ayahuasca journeys in Amazon.
It's like one of my ceremonies was like extremely pleasurable.
And I'm like the self-love queen, right?
