So I say that to say is that at the Black Foundation, we're always about a hand up, not a handout.

Yeah.

And it's about, okay, how do we help others so then that they can take that and then pay that mission forward.

So as an example, with our adult programs and anybody that does receive financial assistance from us, they're required to sign a philanthropic

Pledge.

And what that pledge states is that they will impact 10 individuals in a certain period of time.

Typically, it's going to be the time period that the financial assistance kicks in, or it could be within 12 months, 24 months, whatever it is.

It depends.

But odds are when you're making that type of impact, it's going to be a family of four.

So every single person that we can put through and assist, they're impacting 40 people.

And it's not a simple impact of like, okay, I'm going to go and buy a

couple meals for family.

It's no, you know, they do uh, you know, a hundred unit apartment deal.

They go out and volunteer their time to then pay it forward, or they want to sponsor a grant or a scholarship or whatever that is.

So it's making meaningful impact that we can measure and then they can take that and then they can go back to their community and run the same play.

Yeah.

And really that's what this is all about is putting together a a playbook and a system that works.

that we've proven and then now we can go to everyone and say, Hey

Once again, want and need.

Who wants it, who needs it, and then now we can go in and we can help all these people.
