That kind of hit that would have been a year before Blur Witch as well.

That was 1998 and the Internet was just coming in full force.

And so that's when all the online conspiracies started.

And like I was hired by the government to make the remake, to throw people off the legitimacy of the first one.

It's a mixed bag because I had to go on national TV in like 93, 94, something like that, and debunk my own movie and show behind the scenes pictures and stuff because I'm not here to hoax people.

I'm here to present visually what these people are going through as realistic as possible.

Yeah, it is.

And I remember the producer of Alien Autopsy calling me because he had done the segment on encounters.

He produced a segment that I did where I essentially came out of the closet and debunked my own film on the Fox show called Encounters.

And so he called me, he told me about this footage.

I hadn't even seen a frame of it.

And he's telling me about it and he's describing it to me.

And I said,

I'm being honest, this is what I said.

I said, it sounds like bullshit to me, Bob.

And he said, yeah, it probably is, but I'm going to make a crap load of money.

And so he doesn't like me telling that story, but tough, that's kind of what happened.

Not even kind of, that is exactly what happened.

And the irony is that Fox showed this movie.

So we had pitched UFO Abduction.
