So I joined the Army in 2004.

I originally got posted to 3IR airborne where you were from and was constantly looking over the fence at 4IR or 2 Commando.

Went to Iraq in 05, 06.

Did the trip over there, one of the long ones before they, what they were trying to do, they were trying to build out the deployments to be a bit longer.

And then there was like a period of time where they were trying to test those out.

um and when i came home i did selection got into 4ir you know seven and then pretty much immediately deployed um to afghanistan for the first time i did a deployment over there with those guys a five or six month one and then um came back and was

Asked by somebody that you know pretty personally if they would be interested in swapping seats on the next deployment, which came around pretty quickly.

And naturally I said yes because I wanted to get back overseas and do the job that I came to the unit for.

I got out in the end of 12.

I did two to Afghanistan and one long one to Iraq, yeah.

Yeah, it was with Three Hour Hour, correct.

So we went over there on Sec Deck 10.
