It affects everyone.

And so I said, that's the challenge that we do it for.

So that was the birth of the Pan American Highway.

And the wheel record, when I applied for the wheel record, it was 126 days.

Six days, sorry, six weeks later when Guinness came back, there's a gentleman from Mexico, Carlos, who had already beaten it by eight days.

So I now had the new wheel record, sorry, seven days.

The new wheel record was now 117 days.

But for me, I had to find a sport that my injury wasn't going to be

an issue with.

You know, I obviously couldn't run it.

I couldn't walk it.

I had to find a sport that, you know, that injury was going to play a part.

And I knew mentally I had, you know, I'd been tested before in some of the hardest endurance feats.

So I knew I had that.

I just had to then adapt that into a new sport that I hadn't done before.

yeah I think obviously fire away yeah I think for me you know it's not being the smartest person in the room you know you always hear the phrase surround yourself with smarter people you know for me so going into this bike ride I'd never cycled before you know there was a you know when I applied for the world record you know when I looked at it there was

There was no distinction between supported and unsupported.

So I was like, well, let's have a support network around me.

I just about changed a puncture on a bike.

I don't know much about a bike.
