You can get a vehicle from Alaska to Argentina if you cross the Darien Gap.

The issue we had at this time, there was an issue between Colombia and Panama with the Darien Gap.

There was a lot of

arguments going back and forth.

And so you may be able to get a ferry in 24 hours, or it may take up to a week.

We didn't want to take the risk of encountering that.

So we were swapping vehicles in every country in South America, which was slowing us up.

And so our sponsor had an RV and a 4x4.

And that was going to get shipped from Fort Lauderdale to Panama.

My wife rings me when I'm in Ecuador.

And Alana also, too.

Alana's the campaign director on this.

She's keeping all distractions away from me so I can focus on the ride.

She rings me when I'm in Ecuador and says, the vehicles haven't been loaded onto the shipping container.

They're stuck in Fort Lauderdale.

But she said, don't worry, I've got a plan.

So she flew out on Mother's Day with her PA and two of my friends.

And they drove the vehicles 4,000 miles in eight days from Fort Lauderdale through Mexico down to Panama.

I broke the wheel record in the morning in Cartagena, flew over at noon.

An hour later, they gave us a key so we can carry on.
