And that sort of came over time.

Um, you know, you know, did you know it at the time?

I think with the sort of go back slightly, you know, I got injured out in 2011.

I just finished the London Olympics in September 2012.

And, you know, this story from when I presented at Business Bourbon Cigars, September 11th, 2012.

your listeners may remember that date because that was the date when the American Embassy in Benghazi got overrun.

So I was there that night.

I'd just finished the London Olympics and I was in Benghazi that day.

And that's the first time we'd activated one of our

evacuation plans.

I ended up taking a German oil company, KTA Doitag, from Benghazi to Tripoli through safe houses I had.

And so for me, I told the world I'd had to put these plans in place, but I'd never actually tested it.

It'd never been tested.

It literally was on like, yeah, this is, believe me, I've got this plan in place and it works.

And so I single-handedly evacuated the German oil company.

And when I say single-handedly, I am the only Westerner

Where I've underwritten risk around the world is I employ as many locals as possible.

Because if you can put food and water on their tables, they're going to bend over backwards for you.

They're going to do everything in their power to make sure that that is a mission success.
