And so for me, when I did that and came home, I was like, oh, we are now successful.
We've had the plan in place, but we've never actually activated or executed.
Now we can tell those out there that we are security experts, and here is an example of what we've done.
Fast forward two years later, and this then leads on to the bike ride, so it works perfectly.
Two years later, I was in Brazil doing the Soccer World Cup in 2014.
And
we now had the Tripoli war, civil war between the militias and the governments in Libya.
And all the other embassies had shut shop.
They'd gone.
All the security companies, all the top five had left.
And I get a phone call from the Canadian embassy saying, your name keeps coming up.
You're the guy who can help us.
So you have these multi-billion dollar organizations
who had plans, as I said, their plans were on bare paper.
They didn't have anything in place.
And so I flew back in and we single-handedly evacuated the Canadian embassy, 18 military and four diplomats.
And so overnight, and a member of the Canadian embassy then pushed an email out
to all the security companies, to all the embassies, to all these governments, that this person came in and he's executed.
And that for me was the turning point in my head, because I could tell people, you know, I'm one of the best in the industry, you know, that we'll prove it.
