It's been a week now and it's still completely surreal.

The first interview request came in and I was sure it was a joke.

I was like, it's spring break.

I've got kids everywhere.

I'm being punked.

But no, the interview requests keep coming in and it's hilarious.

It's not how I imagined my 15 minutes of fame.

You know what?

My mother-in-law has been doing that research because she's convinced we have the next cat star.

I did actually create an Instagram page for him.

I am not familiar with a lot of the social media outlets, but Louis does have his own Instagram page.

He's somehow got followers, even though I haven't promoted it at all.

Well, he actually came from kind of humble beginnings, and we adopted him along with two other rescue cats.

And we just figured that, you know, despite coming from humble beginnings, he deserved a designer name, so...

He's lived up to it.

Well, I mean, he's a cute cat and he's very friendly.

I affectionately refer to him as a, you know, laboratory retriever in a cat's body.

He has no idea that he's supposed to be aloof and standoffish.

So our street in this general neighborhood is very pedestrian oriented.

So, you know, before his internet fame, he was definitely a well-known cat to all the neighbors and he'd run up and greet people constantly.
