Oh, we went out six times this month instead of seven, right?
You still enjoyed yourself, but you've taken that money.
And guess what?
You get to eat when you're 95 in a restaurant because you put your money into investing for the future.
Well, you have to open up your account.
And we haven't talked about the difference between saving and investing.
So I do want to point out there is a difference because we always say save for the future.
I mean, it's a small word instead of invest, one syllable versus two.
But we don't save for the future.
We invest for the future.
Saving is for safety.
It's for if all of a sudden you have to go to the dentist and get a root canal, God forbid.
It's also because you have a friend on the other side of the country who is getting married and you want to go to that wedding.
So you've got money in, I like to call it your financial freedom account.
So you get to get on a plane and go.
because you have money in safe savings.
So whether it's a plumber or whether your refrigerator dies on you or whether you want to go to your friend's wedding that all of a sudden she just announced it's in a few months from now and you have fund money, splurge money set aside, you wanna make sure you have some money for that, also money for other expenses that you know are coming up.
Like if you know, like I know for example, we pay for our home insurance every year in February.
I already know that in six months from now, that's happening.
So it makes sense for me to have money in savings for expenses that I know are coming up.
