And I put $75,000 into an investment with this guy.
And he was taking leveraged bets on the market.
Meaning if the stock market went down, you would like double or triple your money.
But it kept going up.
So I was doubling and tripling my losses.
And when I got to $50,000 minus, I said, cut losses and get out of here.
And that's what I did.
And then I said, oh, now I think I really need to learn something because I really don't know what I'm doing.
So the first thing is when I was investing, my husband gave me,
complete control over our investments.
He's a scientist.
He loves, he eats, breathes, you know, science.
He loves it.
And he's like, Debbie, you're the financial person.
