I would say, if anything, he maybe was a little bit paternal.
He is quite protective.
He cared about me as an individual.
We talked about my career.
We talked about what my goals were, what drove me.
I would say that he wasn't a taker.
He was a person who gave deeply of himself, shared what wisdom he had.
