And I should also mention that
Most of our relationship was non monogamous.
Well, so I think it was like the second or third date.
He said to me, hey, I just want you to know I don't plan on ever becoming monogamous.
It's not what I do.
And I was like, huh.
Yeah, oh, absolutely.
Of course, it was after we'd had incredible sex and I had all the dopamine and the serotonin and all this stuff.
And I was like, sure, you know, I want more of that.
So I'll say yes to just about anything at this point.
Yeah, totally.
But seriously, I said, oh, OK, I guess I'll, you know, try that out and see, you know, how that works for me.
And I should say I did grow up in the Bay Area.
So, you know, I did get to see different kinds of relationships and I did get to see, you know, some non-monogamous relationships that were like, oh, OK, I can kind of see where this is going.
So but I but I said to him, you know, yes, I'll stick around as long as this works for me.
And I remember driving home because I was in Santa Cruz and he was in San Francisco, which is about a 90-minute drive, depending on how you drive.
And I remember about halfway through the drive, I was like, wait a second.
If he doesn't have to be monogamous, then I don't have to be monogamous.
I didn't even dawn on you.
