So I think everything kind of goes back to what will Cashman really do to reinforce the offense.

And if they're going to be aggressive, that's been kind of the theme, at least for me, at the beginning of the year.

These Yankees this year look different, right?

They're acting different.

Aaron Boone is being a little more aggressive.

Brian Cashman was making decisions at the front office of,

letting Anthony Volpe down to the AAA and going with Jose Caballero, I think this could be a different trade deadline for them in terms of how aggressive they'll be in fixing their holes.

Yeah, and I think there's an expectation in the industry that there will be rival executives will be able to kind of pry some guys away from the Mets who are on large deals because maybe Steve Cohen will use his best asset and just eat half that money.

But for right now, Mets are saying internally they don't want to do that.

They don't want to do something like the 2023 deadline where they let go of Scherzer, Verlander, and

kind of ate a lot of those contracts in order to move them.

And did it really work out for them?

The returns there were interesting.

And I think Steve Cohen just doesn't want to do that leading into this.

But they have to part ways with some of their top guys here.

And it starts right with Luke Weaver, who has just looked phenomenal this season.

And they, he's not a free agent at the end of this season, but they, I think even Mets fans would be disappointed if he was on the team come August 4th, because they could really get a haul from this guy, especially Weaver Brazoban is another name.

Of course, Peralta will be interesting who actually bites on him.
