Appearances
They just lost in the ALDS.
Now they're running back the same roster.
Listen, this has actually worked for them.
This is one of the tightest Yankees groups that I've covered.
Since I've been covering them for several years now.
And sometimes running it back can lead to good things.
And for this group, it's leading to a tight clubhouse that wants to play for each other with or without judge.
We see it even in between innings.
These guys are really prep pepping themselves up.
They want to get runs on the board for one another, not exactly being the hero.
That's not even what we saw as recently as twenty twenty three when Judge went down with a uh the toe injury after he crashed into the Dodger Stadium wall.
The Yankees offense completely fell apart without him.
And now they're operating without that hero mentality.
Of course, they also have more talented players than they did a few years ago.
But even just kind of inserting Luis Garcia into that mix, that's all that they really needed in terms of a trade deadline impact.
We're seeing Elliot Ramos kind of
get a a spark here going, but really I think for me it goes back to the unit and paying attention to the little details for each other rather than trying to get the big swing, the big home run and getting runs that way.
Yeah, not surprised at all.
I've actually really enjoyed um last few years, Judge really getting a louder voice for himself, just advocating for what he really wants and saying, I don't need a rehab assignment.
Look at me.
