This isn't someone we're just waiting on in ad nationally in the industry just because he's the son.
Of a former great player.
He's really showed up.
I mean, even since his big MVP caliber seasons, we're expecting that kind of performance every season for him because he is just that talented.
And like you said, right?
Everybody trusts that he'll figure it out in his career.
This could be a lost season.
No one will even remember it.
No one will remember it more if he can finish this month out the way that he is supposed to, looking like Vladdy.
And he should be super well rested and ready to go because he really hasn't had any of that energy that we've seen from him in the past.
One thing I am wondering about is how much that uh potential the concussion against the Yankees when he's sliding into third is impacting him more than people think, maybe even more than he thinks.
I know covering Anthony Rizzo's concussion a few years ago.
He really just didn't even think this was a big deal until he had to run some tests and see how bad it was.
So that is like actually a health scare that could be, you know, obviously excused from his performance.
But I think the fact that we are starting to see him get hot at the plate tells me that he is coming out of it.
And of course, it wouldn't excuse his season performance anyway, but I think things like that can be
Kind of a a freak accident in a way that you wouldn't expect it to be impacting him as much as it is.
Yeah.
Some guys, it's funny, uh under the microscope, regardless, just because of their star power.
With someone like Shoe Otani, actually, when he's in a flow in a season long, he's doing his superhuman things at the plate and pitching.
