It has also moved to the right.

So the difficulty for unionism is the three parties are all in the same camp altogether.

all fighting for the same ground.

Liberal unionism is dead.

And that does not bode well for the future of unionism when the three parties are actually trying to outright each other.

If voters cannot find a home, voters are looking at this saying, this does not represent me.

I am not interested in the far right.

I'm not interested in culture wars.

I simply want a progressive party that's pragmatic, that will sell the union.

and make Northern Ireland a better place, they will drift.

They will disengage.

Yes, some will vote for the TUV, and I imagine they will maybe come back with another seat.

But nothing radical.

I think the bigger danger is that voters just say, look, a plague on all your houses.

We've had enough of this.

I don't think it is good news because the model of government we have in Northern Ireland is a consociational model, power sharing model.

So we need to have, as it were, two large titular heads of government sharing power, agreeing a vision, agreeing a programme for government.

If one side becomes very fractured, disillusioned, that disillusionment spreads and actually then the system of government begins to look like it is not fit for purpose.

So for Sinn Féin, this is not a good thing because will the DUP decide that actually partnership isn't working for them?
