city in europe are probably one of the only ones i go to germany to visit my brother you know we can get from the airport to him quite quickly and just at the weekend i went to to london so i had to get a lift to the airport when once i got to london it was fine i was underground train the whole way from london to deal now it's expensive but why don't we have something like that but i feel like we already have so many issues with our public transport are we just going to have another creaky system on top of five other creaky systems that would be my fear
Yeah, and I read that piece that Gary Gann wrote and it was actually kind of heartbreaking because, as you say, he is a Dub, he lives in that area, he doesn't just work in it.
I can get into my car at five o'clock this evening and leave Dublin altogether.
But I obviously work on Talbot Street and even, you know, I strolled over here today and just I was paying more attention because I knew we were discussing this topic.
And it's just very grim.
It's actually heartbreaking.
I mean, I've lived in Dublin for 20 years and moved out around lockdown and
There's nothing drawing me back.
I always thought I'd end up living in Dublin.
But now I've just kind of fallen out of love with it.
And I think a whole generation has fallen out of love with it, those of us that went to college here.
