I mean, not to m a not to date him, but I remember being in high school reading his stuff about the Super Bowl years in the Buffalo News and being able to just pick up.

He was such a great guy.
Um and just being able to ask him all these questions from like the past.
thirty plus years of his career uh all the way up to like do you think Josh Al Allen is a Hall of Famer?
Or like, what was the story going on here y at this time with bickering bills and stuff like that?

So that was really cool too.
For me, like fifteen year old me was real geeked.
I had actually had a book um that my parents gave me.
Uh it was it would have been Christmas of ninety one.
It was a book that he wrote called the Almost Dynasty or something like that about the Bills nineteen ninety seven.

And my dad had written a little inscription about it.
Like maybe this year it won't be a dream uh almost dream season, that's what it was.
And uh he said maybe this uh this year won't be a dream.
But it was great.
