But I think having events like COVID, which we've
actually physically experienced as younger people, whereas like the GFC, we were probably a bit younger, didn't really feel the impacts as much.
So things like COVID I think might have scared a lot of people in my experience because they've realised that, yeah, you could lose your job or like something could happen to your health or you just don't know what tomorrow will bring.
So I think like health is a big one.
Like you don't know whether you'll be able to be healthy enough to work or the way to age pension age.
And, yeah, disability support pensions in Australia, like they're not great.
So it just does come down to choice, like what choices you want to be able to make.
And I guess we are lucky that we live in Australia so that we always do have these safety nets in place.
We've got public health systems.
We've got age pension, social security.
It does take away your choices, which is what I keep coming back to.
Yeah, it always comes down to cash flow as the first point with any financial plan.
So what are you earning?
What are you spending?
Because that is really like the foundation of any financial plan.
And then we kind of look at some of the other parts of the...
the pie, other slices.
So, we've got, you know, debt, for example.
So, if we've got a mortgage, well, what's our goal around that?
Do we want to have that cleared by retirement and how will we do that?
