i have felt that on nxt i always thought that there was more to see for ricky and i think the problem is or i don't know if it's a problem or not but i still have this vision of who he was on aew i still remember the promos the feuds the battles that he had with brian danielson the battles that we had with cm punk the promos that he did with the mjf all of those people so i feel like i saw ricky in a certain

And when on NXT, I kind of remember just being like, oh, man, I don't know.

This doesn't really feel the same.

And even when he had that feud with Oba Femi, I remember thinking right before the feud happened, I'm like, oh, man, Ricky's going to come in here.

He's going to talk his talk and maybe even out promo Oba.

And that did not happen.

Oba out promo Ricky.

And I was so stunned by that.

And whatever, that ended up being really fun.

But I just kind of felt like Ricky had been there, done it all on NXT.

And I feel like Ricky works better with bigger people like those Obas, like Ethan Page and stuff like that.
