And even there's, I think there was 2003, I think there was a study that came out and it said

that 31,000 people worldwide were targeted by spyware.

And obviously that seems like a relatively small figure.

You can imagine that the actual figure is much, much larger than that.

But like I said previously, the courts and the guards are saying that spyware is becoming an integral part of abuse claims and that men are really, really relying on these to kind of control their partners.

And there was actually a well-known case in 2025.

cameras in the house and which obviously led to like prolonged suffering for his wife and he was convicted of that so we're seeing it more and more so hopefully like proper legislation will come in like as it stands now it falls under harassment and privacy and GDPR

Yeah, I think it falls under privacy, but there's not like a concrete piece of legislation as in the UK.

I think that's the Bodily Tissue Act.

The only thing I know is that obviously these home tests are completely unmonitored and unchecked.

But if you do go to a private clinic, you need consent from both parties.

So it generally falls under privacy, like you don't have the right to test also someone's DNA.

Yeah, I think like Women's Aid especially are just saying that people need to be vigilant about this and that it is a real, real thing and that women need to come forward.

I think like it can be quite trivialised because it's not...

Abuse that people might recognize.

It's not as prevalent, but it's becoming more and more prevalent now.
