Then I was going to end up being seduced and maybe persuaded to make different types of decisions as a business owner.
Right.
And of course my Titas and Titos would always warn me, Oh, Dennis, be careful when you go to the Philippines, you know, a lot of sharks, this, that and the other.
And I was just determined.
That's a really good observation.
Before I get to the part of the answer on that question about the business side, I also want to share the the personal side.
So I'd recently got married and you know, my wife and I had our first two kids.
Right.
And outside of business and that personal goal of mine, that calling, yeah, but this is what I want to do and this is what I wanna be.
I really honestly also looked at what can I do as a parent to give my children the experience at a global level and given the context of what life might be like when they are adults.
Right.
And I figured out if they could survive a life-changing transition as well.
Because they were six and eight years old when we moved to the Philippines.
If they could go through that, my job as a parent is done.
They would be prepared for anything that life would throw at them.
And these are only things that I think as a parent you would really start to weigh in on.
