Gus came over and I had a job with an electrician.

I used to do a little bit of TA work for him, be his labourer for the day, save me from getting somebody else.

And there was money coming in for me, so it didn't matter.

And I was out, went out early, about 7 o'clock, got back about 10ish.

And...

uh gus was here a post that i had when my um gate post had been knocked over and it had red paint on it and he um uh he was in with the uh uh he had a coaster bus but he also had a uh

a Toyota Dyna truck.

And he was here with the truck.

And he said, oh, I've only just got back.

The bus was, it had water in it.

Anyway, he said he went to drive the bus over and it was played up, so he went back home and picked up the truck.

Yeah.

Well that morning, from what Debbie said, he left early.

He got a phone call and left.

And he left in the bus, but there was a red mark on the post.

So you're saying... Yeah, that same day.

There was red paint on the post and...

I didn't worry about it, I just, well the post got partly knocked over, I was going to pull it out because as the driveway is so easy to get into without all that there.

And so, later on, a few days later, Gus is out there with a scraper and a,

bit of newspaper on the ground scraping the paint off now why would you bother scraping uh if you're going to scrape the paint off thinking oh well it looks a bit odd why would you bother take a piece of newspaper out to collect the paint so he was sort of catching the scrapings and yes i mean look at the place you know you're in the bush
