To your point, Thor, the one thing that that gave me so much pause about Cam Ward, the college prospect, was how hot and cold he was, man.

Kind of like dollar store Jordan Love to his game as a prospect where like he would get on these hot streaks and the big plays were there and he's just lacing throws and you're like, bro, he's he could be one of the best quarterbacks.
And then he goes on a cold streak and you're like, Good lord, man, like he can't he can't hit a freaking barn.
Like, this is terrible.
I think the overarching theme of all those quarterbacks is just very vanilla offenses they were asked to run in the first and again, I'm not asking or expecting in preseason week one, their first NFL game action, for them to come out here full field reads and look like finished products.
Far from it.
But also look, like let's be honest about what we saw in week one of preseason.
Like everybody touting the Ty Simpson stat line.

And it's like, bro, he literally spammed that the Rams spam like the same play to different sides of the field, like eight times out of his freaking 25.

It was boot to one side, check down to the running back, wide receiver runs across her, tight end comes out, and it just floods to one side.
