Well, this administration has weaponized identity in a way in which they have been able to distract and distort how they are subverting and undermining democracy.
And unfortunately, as we, you know, see the stripping away of rights from individuals, we have we have someone else who is not a born, naturalized U.S.
citizens sitting in the Department of Treasury with a bunch of young kids or sitting in the Department of Education with a bunch of young kids stealing the data.

And so they distract us with the identity politics.
They distort the message of what's taking place around our democracy as they steal the very essence of who we are as a nation.
And unfortunately, the guardrails, I'm afraid, are not strong enough to prevent what's happening right in front of our eyes.
Well, it's unfortunate.
We can't call it a dog whistle anymore.
She is feeding the public square with hate speech in a way in which it feels her campaign coffers.
It distracts the conversation away from the substance of what needs to take place.
It otherized individuals and demonized them in ways in which we should not tolerate.
It divides this country because it's such an effective tool.
To otherize human beings have always been an effective tool in the political space.
And what we have seen over the last several years is the perfecting of the art and using social media platforms to accelerate like a super spreader
messages of hate feeding on fears from individuals who may or may not be her constituency base.
But I wonder what it would look like if someone took a look at her campaign coffers before that moment and the day after that.
I bet you people donated because it feeds a sense of fear.
