As a victim of it now, they're never a great thing for whatever reason the business feels like it has to happen. And yeah, my heart just goes out to everybody that was affected by it, especially after pouring years into a game like Concord, just to have it all shut down like that afterwards.

Very terrifying, especially for Marathon, which is next in line to be on that games-as-a-service slate for Sony. Like you said, it's so hazy to see what the future is going to look like. We're always going to be talking about Concord because once Marathon comes out, it's going to be direct comparisons left and right.

Yeah, we are hitting a point where it's starting to flatline a little bit. I think we would have gotten there a little bit faster if console hardware was at the same cadence as cell phones. Because I've hit the point where if a new iPhone gets announced, I'm just like, eh, whatever. I'm more of like, when it's a new iOS, when it's a new software update, then I'm really excited.

wow that is a sane number yeah that's very very good very exciting um of course the beta is free um but and not that the monster hunter ip or capcom need this um indication of you know how popular it's going to be just they could look at World and know how popular it's going to be. But it's a really good indication of how strong that fan base is going to be.

World brought in so many new people, and so many people that missed that boat, me included, are looking at this like, is this my chance? I can not be in that FOMO zone anymore. It's really cool to see. And I tried it a little bit on PlayStation when that part of it dropped, but I just downloaded it onto PC.
