You can tell how good I am at keeping up with things.
But just this idea of like there's someone that you're supposed to be, right?
Like you're supposed to have these habits, you're supposed to do these things, you're like that there's this vision, okay?
And I'm going to challenge that right now.
And I want you to even take a moment and notice, cause this can even be very subconscious where we don't even realize that we are having this expectation of ourselves.
So I want you to pause and even just genuinely ask yourself, am I expecting myself to be a certain person?
What are the expectations that I have?
Or something that I would explore would be like when I am making myself feel bad or shaming myself for something, what is the expectation that's there?
And I wanna share with you the two pieces of what is actually true.
Okay.
If you are devoted to growing, to healing, you're here in this space for that reason and you're devoted to that, right?
I wanna share with you the two pieces that we actually want to be focusing on, okay?
You do not need to become someone else.
So let's imagine, and this is a conversation I've genuinely had, is like people who are just naturally very introverted and they're like, I want to feel more confident, right?
And
having this conversation around you don't we never want
in coaching and therapy on this growth journey, we never want to encourage you to be someone that you are not.
We never want to encourage the naturally introverted person to go out and try to be life of the party and out all the time, socializing all the time.
If you hate heights, I'm never gonna say, Hey, why don't we try rock climbing?
Like, we are not trying to be someone else.
