If I were a student at Harvard or a student at one of these places, I think this would be a very crystallizing experience about like who the true customer of these places is.

It is not the students paying tuition.

It might feel like you're a customer because you're paying this money and ostensibly, you know,

Through organizing or whatever with the university, you can change things and stuff.

But really who they are concerned with in terms of who calls the shots are the Les Wexners.

And speaking of the Les Wexners calling the shot, I think Les Wexner did exactly that around October 2023.

And so there's some backstory here between Les Wexner, the billionaire in Harvard and

Essentially, after October 7th, Les Wexner was appalled at how slow-walked Harvard's response to October 7th was, the statement that Claudine Gay, then president of Harvard, issued.

Exactly.

So Les Wexner was deeply unhappy about how Harvard responded to that.

He was unhappy about the kinds of statements that top administrators were issuing.

And so October 7th happens, about, you know, one to two weeks later, October 16th, the Wexner Foundation ends the Wexner Israel Fellowship, which again had been going on for about 34 years.

And so unless Wexner says at Harvard, you're not issuing an unequivocal response to the terrorist attacks, we're going to go ahead and just end any partnership that I have with you.
