So a lot of people are surprised that more work or more trading doesn't equate to better results.

So in the corporate world, there is a grind.

You might be working overtime.

You want to impress your boss.

In the trading world,

Oftentimes less is more.

So the markets, they don't necessarily reward effort like they would in the corporate world.

They more so actually reward discipline and being more strategic and knowing when to get into the market with those opportunities when you see them.

and also when to stay out of the market, when to take a step back.

So yeah, the biggest misconception, less is more.

I was surprised when I was putting in all those hours in my corporate job, so motivated, wanted to move up.

And I did, but a lot of effort, it was rewarded.

And then when I switched to full-time trading, I found full-time trading maybe 10 to 20 hours a week.

including my analysis on Sunday.

And I work with a lot of traders now and they full-time trading less than 10 hours.

Now they're not day traders, they're swing traders.

So they'll hold their positions a few days to a few weeks, but even so you can have a even better outcome with less work.

If you have that process in place and you follow it, you trust it and you, and you enjoy it.
