I think that for them bringing in Jalen Watson and then really the conjunction of Jalen Watson plus Trent McDuffie with the trade last week for Los Angeles, I think it teased them up perfectly, I think, to go out and be able to chase a championship in 2026.
I do like the combo of both of them.
And then I'm thinking too, right?
Like, I think you only are willing to spend this amount of draft capital plus real cash if there's a clear understanding that 2026 is the end of the road for this iteration of this team.
That's what I'm thinking.
