I'm with you.
In my mock draft, he went to the Rams early, right?
So I view him as maybe not like a George Kittle type of tight end where he's just going to be a total world changer.
And if you were to redraft a George Kittle draft, he obviously would go probably in the top 10, top 15, right?
He might not be at that level,
But he could certainly be one of the high-level receiving tight ends and just kind of cross that bar that you need in terms of being a blocker, right?
And you would probably be pretty happy with that if you got it at pick 23.
So right now, I have Denzel Boston as a wide receiver because I'm thinking most prevalently about the A.J.
Brown trade that I think is just kind of waiting in the wings to happen after June 1st.
But you could really swing me in a bunch of different directions between offensive line, wide receiver, or Sadiq as the best player available.
Yeah, this is where if I'm Sean Mannion, after Howie gives me this whole spiel about how important Kenyon Sadiq can be to this offense, I'm going to raise my hand and say, hey man, I'm looking at my tight end room and I've got an aging Dallas Goddard, Grant Calcaterra, and now you're telling me you're going to hand me this sub 250 pound tight end?
And we're supposed to be running the Sean Mannion offense with this collection of tight ends on the field?
How much outside zone do you think we can get done with this collection of guys?
Unless you're telling me Dallas Goddard is going to be a world-changing blocker again, right?
After watching the tape from last year, man, it's just hard for me to see that you're going to turn a corner right back to being who you were before, given what his blocking reps were in 2025.
That's not to say it was an abject disaster, but it is to say that there was enough slippage there that when both he and Grant Cacaterra were on the field, it just felt like defenses didn't have to respect what was going on on the edges at all.
I think for me, I'm going Denzel Boston again just for the A.J.
Brown replacement aspect of it, but I would leave a caveat.
That if somebody wanted to tap me on the shoulder and say, hey, Blake Miller checks all the boxes athletically as a right tackle.
This is somebody you can trust.
