I think that what we saw from George Pickens, if you would have told me that George Pickens, fresh off of a trade and not being paid, was going to show up and be this unguardable X receiver for this team, I wouldn't have believed that either.
So much so that it kind of came at the expense of CeeDee Lamb's production, right?
In some points, because Dak Prescott has such a strong connection with
with George Pickens throughout the year.
But yeah, this is a team that just checks all the boxes.
You want supporting cast, they've got two bonafide number one type wide receivers.
Jake Ferguson has been a very dependable tight end.
You have a running game that you're able to lean on.
You have a healthy Javante Williams, which hopefully remains his way because he was a very enjoyable watch once we got him healthy again in the NFL.
And I hope that we're able to continue to see him affect games as a power runner between the tackles
the way that we did last year.
Their offensive line is young.
It's reliable, both good in the run game and the pass game.
And they kept their staff together, right?
There really wasn't any brain drain.
There's really nothing to point to that would tell you that you should be concerned that this team is going to take some unforeseen step back from last year to this year.
If anything, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we're having conversations about how they might be the number one or number two offense in the league if guys are healthy and they're performing at peak capacity again this year.
