It's trying to give them something to build back.
Good to see Tipper.
That's a disappointing result for Sligo as well because that was a team that showed promise, showed like they won the under-20s, was it two or three years ago?
So there should be talent there to be competing better.
So that would be a knockback.
But this is...
I don't think so, no.
Potentially not.
Another one, just before you go, Wexford, they're a county that sort of, you know, yes, Limerick seemed to have stepped back from 12 months ago when they were competing against each other.
But Wexford, you'd be sort of seeing, that's a team, that's a Taliesin Cup team.
That's a team that will get real value of a run in the Taliesin Cup, will set themselves, even though we talk about the Downs and the bigger fish teams.
there that they can get to a final and compete and so you know that was a good result for them it was it was comprehensive and a team that you'd expect should be looking at a minimum semi-final final position in that um so yeah in the early rounds you're just looking for markers of teams that are serious about this others that potentially will be running the road fairly quickly so
the likes of Wexford definitely seem to be in the form.
I think whatever they may have thought after the Donegal game, I think they'll just sort of have to suck it up and sort of say, listen, you can say all that when you're beating Donegal, but when you're putting in those performances in the next game, I know there was a lot of other factors around it.
You sort of lose a wee bit of leverage in those conversations.
They're just going to go back.
take maybe the Talton Cup this year and Division 3 next year as a bit of a speed bump sorry they're back up as a bit of a speed bump with their views of coming back in 2027 you know looking at Sam Maguire football first and foremost so get through it treat it with respect you know I put it this if they don't Mike if they don't don't be talking to me about down football next year because you know they have to show a wee bit of humility and respect to the competition they are where they are it's nobody else's fault but themselves go and win it again don't think it's your fault
It's automatic.
And I'd be looking and scanning very quickly through that London team to see is there any sort of players that have dropped in.
Sometimes you get a star player this year.
