I think not only the European leagues, I think the whole world is looking at Germany, all the countries.

And American professional leagues, I think they look at Germany, how they do it, if they can do it, whether it works.

And I think it's a big chance for football to be the first one to hopefully bring some normality back into people's lives.

Because I think when we play and it works out, people may think maybe we've got the worst behind us without getting careless, because obviously we still have to obey to the social distancing rules, even if we're not footballers.

But as I said, I'm very positive because so far people have been very disciplined.

So what hope can you give us?

Well, the DFL proposed a plan to the politicians a few weeks ago.

They agreed to it in the final hearing.

yes will hopefully come this afternoon and then I think from next week onwards the teams are allowed to train in bigger groups again because so far it's been single training it's been training in smaller groups I think that'll change early next week and then I think you've got to give him at least two weeks maybe three so I think we're looking at May 16th or May 23rd Didi has there been any talk of what would happen if the season was curtailed or voided because that's a big talk on point a huge one

It's very important for the clubs, even if it's behind closed doors, which it will be in the near future, to finish the season and get the TV revenue.

I obviously follow the English discussion, what would happen if the season was to finish now.

But we never really had the discussion because from very early on, all the clubs said, the DFL said, and the public as well, if there is a way or if there is a chance to finish the season, we will do so and we have to do so.

You know, it was my longest spell at a club.

It was the most successful one.

So that's why Liverpool will always have a special place in my heart.

And I've got to say that, yeah, I got to love the city.

I got to love the club.
