But yeah, so much anticipation.

And it's funny because...

after the 19 red flags of F3 in testing we all thought that this was going to be a very chaotic race they behaved the F3 guys for most of the weekend there wasn't that chaos in the races or qualifying F2 had a very different story Formula 2 had three different red flags during qualifying there was a big crash in the first and only practice session which basically wiped out half of that practice session and yeah it was quite eventful in F2 but

We didn't have the chaos that we expected in F1.

I don't know how much of that anticipated chaos the strategists factored in when they planned the race.

For sure, the difficulty to overtake was factored in, and that's why we saw so many different strategies and basically the top four teams having both drivers in different tires for the start.

But, yeah, none of that materialized.

In the end, everybody sort of behaved and that didn't help Ferrari's cause.

Yeah, I think what really cost Franco probably a chance of P6 was being so many laps behind Bortoletto.

That destroyed his chances because at some point you saw that if Lawson pitted, he was going to come out behind Franco.

Was Franco going to be able to stay there?

I don't know.

I mean, Lawson has a better car than Franco.

Franco was punching above his weight when he overtook both Lawson and Piastri at the start and was able to stay there for a few laps.

But...

Yeah, Bortoletto undid the chances of Franco of fighting Lawson for P6, which would have equaled his best result in F1.

But overall, I'd say this has been the best weekend for Franco Colapinto in F1.

Yeah, I think it was a disappointing one for both Spanish drivers.

I think Alonso, after Monza, they knew that it was not going to be a great opportunity at Monza, but they had some, yeah, they expected this race to be more of a chance to fight maybe for a Q2.
