uh in the end they didn't have the pace to do so and in the race it it was about it was going to be a battle between yeah the Cadillacs uh Perez at some point was doing a really good job and staying like ahead of those uh um teams at the back but uh had his fifth retirement due to uh uh reliability issues uh not the brakes this time luckily but um

Yeah, Carlos, he tried to put his car in the middle of the track, like Max was saying, was the way to stay half of the others.

Unfortunately, in a part of the track where you go very quick, Alonso was complaining that at some point he thought he was going to be flying around because he didn't like to be touching wheels at such a high speed.

There was some damage in his car.

He was able to at least finish the race.

And he said that the lap that he enjoyed the most was the lap coming into the pits after the race because he had the chance to absorb the fans cheering him, even if he didn't have a chance to fight.

So Williams is in a very difficult place.

This was his race.

He's an ambassador for the Spanish Grand Prix, an ambassador for Madrid, for Madrid.

But yeah, since qualifying, things didn't go to his way.

Albon was the one that Williams was making into Q2 and not him.

So yeah, not the kind of weekend he expected for the first time in a race that he had his heart in this.

And unfortunately, not one to remember for him.
