yeah how the walls would be placed because the track had already the asphalt but we didn't know how the walls would yeah make exactly uh how wide the track would be in different places that you can in turns four five and six how slow would it be how high would the curbs be would they run the curbs at all or not and definitely some of that some of those places i think didn't help the racing didn't provide the uh

overtaking opportunities that maybe they thought they would let's remember as well that this track although there were more than 900 days between the announcement and the actual Grand Prix it was almost half of that since they started to build it there was there were some changes as well of the companies involved in building it we had

Jarno Zafeli and Romo at the beginning and Tilke wrapping things up.

I don't know how much could that have affected what they were seeing in terms of probably making any changes.

I know for a fact that there were some discussions about changing a few corners, but the deadlines would not allow that, unfortunately, for this first race.

I think they're very open, from what I've heard, to make some changes for next year.

promote overtaking because it's an added difficulty for the drivers maybe opening up some of the entries as well like turn 13 because we had la monumental it's an iconic corner great pictures we saw some overtaking in formula 2 marie boya did a great overtaking on that's on the outside there but not enough when it i think the fact that it was a bank corner made it somehow a

like an artificial straight because they run for a longer full throttle and we thought that turn 13 they would be you know maybe providing an opportunity to overtake but that corner was was not really an overtaking spot so yes in terms of a track for drivers to enjoy in one lap
