There's a lot wrong with hair extensions right now.
And I feel like a lot of people are just ordering hair from, you know, their manufacturer and they got a sample from the manufacturer.
And then when they placed a big order, it was like crappy hair.
And I think a lot of thing comes down to education.
We are not educating hairstylists in the extension world to really understand extensions.
For sure.
why you can't do certain things, why you still have to take care of them.
So I think sometimes, you know, that is also lacking big time.
My hands started to not be able to work as much anymore from doing hair for, you know, almost 25 years.
I was really busy behind the chair.
I felt like I had to pick either an extension line to be an extension artist or to be a color artist.
And I enjoyed doing both at that time.
And that's why this butterfly method really, really helped me because I can't sit there for an hour and sew anymore.
My hands cramp up, it really hurts my shoulders.
So it's really more about, oh, and it's a 15 minute install, which is huge because hairstylists nowadays, we're too busy behind the chair.
And a 15-minute install is key instead of an hour and a half.
So it's basically just more about helping hairstylists make more money behind the chair, having more clients be able to afford to be able to put extensions, and also helping stylists who have hand problems, have shoulder problems, to really be able to still do what they love.
So my slogan is, it's not just hair, it's an alter ego.
Absolutely.
That's literally what it is.
