Thanks, Nile.
And in spite of recent outperformance of public markets over privates, our view is that private markets are highly additive to achieving our long-term investment goals.
They help you allow for access to unique asset classes and industries, and many more companies and opportunities are available in private markets than public.
But manager selection, as well as understanding your portfolio and liquidity requirements, are critical for success.
I've had experience recently with three different portfolios that I wanted to mention.
The first is here at Trinity Health.
We have built our private markets portfolio from 0 to 15% over the last 10 years.
I'm also on the investment board of a public pension plan, was an early investor in privates, both funds and co-investment opportunities, and developed a deep expertise in this area.
And lastly, I'll mention endowment where I'm on the investment committee.
It's been overweighted to private opportunities to help build the corpus during a period of low liquidity needs.
So these experience point to how private markets can help support portfolio goals across different institutional settings.
I agree with Mike's points.
You know, we think about the public market concentration risk in conjunction with our private markets portfolio as well.
So you really, between the two, you don't want to have an unintended challenge.
And in private markets, we really think how do we look at the total portfolio view and have the ability to see across it between both public and
Private.
And we monitor our geographical and industry diversification.
We talked about AI, we talked about data centers.
We compare that to the public market indices.
And we do find we have a preference in how we invest in certain themes and industries within our portfolio.
