Absolutely.

And the New Testament and the Old, by the way, really go together.

And by this, I mean that the New Testament is no less Jewish than the Old.

The artifacts that come out of the ground that affect the New Testament also affect the Old.

So, for example,

There is recently one of the most spectacular discoveries of biblical archaeology is the uncovering of a pool that is mentioned in the New Testament, the Pool of Siloam, the ancient Pool of Siloam.

It's said that Jesus performed a miracle there.

He healed a blind man at the Pool of Siloam.

And this pool, by the way, whose location was not known for decades, connects with a major road called the Pilgrimage Road that leads from this pool, a giant pool, by the way, the size of two Olympic swimming pools,

it leads all the way to the temple.

And as it turns out, this pool was used by out-of-town Jews.

Jews who lived in Jerusalem had their own mikvah, they had their own sort of ritual bath, but the out-of-town Jews needed a public bath where they could go and ritually cleanse themselves before they walked the journey to the temple.

So I asked Zev Ornstein, who runs the City of David Foundation that's doing this archaeological work over there, I asked him, what is the probability that Jesus walked, that he bathed in the Pool of Siloam, and that he walked this pilgrimage road to the temple?

And his answer was 100%.

He goes, because that's what the out of town Jews did.

This is what they had to do before going to the temple.

So if Jesus lived in the first century A.D.

and Jesus went to the temple, as the Bible says he did, then this is how he would have done it.

And so today, this pilgrimage road has just been opened, I mean, within the last year to the public where you can truly walk in the footsteps of Jesus.

And it's also of Jewish significance because think of it, there were millions of Jews over many, many, a long period of time who walked this exact road.
