Well, I mean, listen...
I mean, listen, we've already had, like, a week or so of postmortems of the great Pep regime.
My pal Jack Gawne did a very good one in the Daily Mail.
I would recommend it.
But it does appear that Pep did immerse himself in Manchester a little bit, even if they didn't serve sea urchin, which is his favourite food, so he had to set up his own restaurant.
But, you know, I remember the Ferguson days of... We can all relate to that, John.
Yeah, absolutely, yeah.
Ferguson would be at, you know, cricket club dinners.
I mean, I was hearing you think about Lee Sharp, you know, the famous one where he burst into Sharpie's house and catches him in gigs preparing for a night out.
He was at some dinner in Southport, gets a call, drives across Lancashire to issue a bollocking and stuff like that.
It's a different world, I think is what I'm saying.
But Pep, it was there for him.
It's a very modern way of doing things.
It's a very almost tech bro-y way of doing things.
Can it be repeated?
I think a lot of people will try and repeat that.
And maybe the fullness of time will show you just how hard or difficult it was to be Pep Guardiola and be so successful.
Yeah, I think someone worked out that they would have got 87 points if Michael Carrick had started this season and carried the same trajectory.
Yeah, he was actually asked that in a press conference yesterday and just sort of rolled his eyes, really.
